Valentine Gift Ideas for Kids

Valentine’s Day isn’t just for lovers!

For as long as I can remember, my mom has always made a point to give my sister and I a gift for Valentine’s Day. Sometime they’re small little tokens of affection and other times they’re items of clothing or home decor. I’ve tried to carry on the tradition with my own kids of giving them a thoughtful little gift (or two or three) that doesn’t involve candy. I typically decorate a small little area in the kitchen where they’ll see it first thing in the morning and display their gifts for Valentine’s Day morning. Don’t worry, we always have a few sweet treats thrown in the mix, too!

Do you include your kids in the Valentine love fest?

Check out these inexpensive non-candy Valentine’s Day gift ideas and be on the lookout for an upcoming blog post that will give you even more inspiration for ways to make birthdays and holidays special for your littles!
